    I am looking for a professionally mature White Hat with strong Microsoft
    hacking skills. No prima donnas or rock stars need apply. The person who
    takes this job must be able to work as part of a team and be willing to
    share and communicate new findings. The position is with an Information
    Security Product and Services firm in the Midwest.
    
    Summary:
    The position requires an ingrained passion for computer security and the
    ability to effectively research and document at a highly technical
    level.  Responsibilities include the identification, documentation, and
    testing of system and application defects and vulnerabilities in a lab
    environment.  As a member of the Research and Development team, this
    person will work with various research systems and networks for testing
    computer security vulnerabilities and countermeasures.  Additionally,
    this person will perform vulnerability and system configuration data
    research, review, validation, and quality assurance.
    
    Desired Experience:
    A minimum of 3-5 years of intensive security experience with Microsoft
    and a variety of other operating systems. A solid understanding of
    network protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, Netbios, IPX) and Web-based security
    technologies.
    Security experience with the following is required: Windows XP, NT, 2000
    and/or Unix, transport protocols (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NetBEUI), wireless,
    Ethernet, WAN switching technologies, firewalls, intrusion detection,
    PKI, routers, switches, hubs, etc. The ability to program in a variety
    of languages (including C/C++) is EXTREMELY desirable.
    
    Excellent verbal, written, presentation, time management and
    interpersonal skills are required.  If you are capable and comfortable
    presenting topics and information there will be opportunities to
    represent the company at industry events.
    
    Educational Requirements:
    A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer
    Information Systems is highly preferred.  Non-college grads with valid
    experience will be considered on a case by case basis.  Industry
