    Pacifica Technologies, a Bay Area security company, has an immediate need
    for an experienced Senior Sales Manager for the East Coast region to join
    our team.  Pacifica Technologies is a leader in providing Information
    Security Assessment solutions.  We are looking for the right candidate to
    help grow and support our sales efforts throughout the East Coast.
    
    Job Description:
    As a key member of the sales team, the Senior Sales Manager -- East Coast,
    will be responsible for selling the Company's Information Security products
    and solution into State and Federal Goverment, & Fortune 1000 companies.
    The right candidate will have a solid understanding of the Information
    Security markets, and have direct experience selling Security Vulnerability
    Assessment products, services, and solutions.  The position will cover the
    eastern region, focusing on sales efforts within the Washington DC, New
    York, and Boston corridor.  The position can be based in any of these three
    locations, however will require significant travel throughtout the region
    (up to 75%).  Local candidates in these three regions only, please.
    
    The position will have the following qualifications:
    
    1.  5 + years experience in Sales and Sales Management.
    2.  Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing deals using
    multiple sales approaches, with an emphasis on consultative selling
    approach.  Track record must include selling enterprise software solutions
    within the Information Security space.
    3.  Must have a hunter mentality for understanding customers pain points and
    translating that into effective sales presentations and product positioning.
    4.  Must have a established network of C-level contacts throughout the
    region.
    5.  Must be willing and able to play a leadership role within the company.
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    1.  Rapidly build a world-class pipeline of sales opportunities.
    2.  Attain a minimum of 100% of revenue plan.
    3.  Manage all stages of sales cycle including lead generation, proposal
    development, and contract negotiation.
    4.  Manage on-going client relationships by coordinating and leading
    internal resources from Professional Services, Marketing, and Engineering.
    5.  A self-starter, with the ability to establish good working relationships
    with all team members.
    5.  Perform the role of Business Analyst, where required, by gathering
    requirements from and meeting with the client.
    6.  Comfortable selling non-traditional multi-million dollar deals.
    7.  Be a visionary - not just product focused in your sales approach.
    8.  Set up a sales organization before (process, boundaries, etc,).
    9.  Most of your career is based in sales with a steady progression in
    roles.
    10. Previous experience working within an entreprenuerial organization,
    comfortable with multi-tasking within all areas of the sales organization.
    11. Superior analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
    
    
    EDUCATION:
    Education: BA, BS (or equivalent) required. MBA desired.
