    Job Description:
    
    The Data Security Analyst II reviews and analyzes current and proposed
    software applications and data bases on all supported computing environments
    for compliance with Bank data security and control policies and standards to
    ensure their protection from unauthorized or accidental disclosure,
    duplication, modification, or destruction.  The Data Security Analyst II,
    with guidance from the Data Security Manager, maintains the data security
    program infrastructure to include the information ownership and
    classification system, the security control standards, and security
    awareness programs.
    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    · Review and analyze proposed software applications and databases on all
    Bank data processing systems for compliance with Bank data security and
    control policies and standards.
    · Ensure that all Bank data is assigned an owner.
    · Assist Bank management in the classification of Bank data.
    · Document review results including findings and proposed corrective action
    for signoff by the data/application owner.
    · Perform periodic reviews of current Bank systems and applications to
    ensure compliance with data security policies and standards.
    · Maintain records on all reviewed applications including corrective action
    taken and security set-up documentation.
    · Maintain the Data Security Manual that contains all data security
    policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
    · Develop, maintain and administer the standards and procedures for
    establishing the ownership and classification of Bank data and applications.
    · Prepare and provide training to user personnel through oral and written
    presentations on data security standards, procedures, and practices.
    · Provide data security recommendations to Bank management regarding
    communication networks, data access and confidentiality, and computer
    hardware and software.
    · Maintain knowledge of existing and proposed state and federal legislation
    and regulatory laws pertaining to information system security and privacy.
    · Maintain familiarity with state-of-the-art concepts, procedures, software,
    and techniques in data security in order to ensure the adequacy and
    reliability of data security within the Bank.
    · Provide support to the data security operations staff for the
    administration of security on the Bank's mainframe and LAN systems.
    · Provide general support to the department in carrying out its assigned
    functions and responsibilities.
    · Prepares and conducts formal performance appraisals for Security Analysis
    personnel.  Handles personnel matters.
    · Directs and supervises Security Analysis personnel in the discharge of
    assigned tasks and further develops staff by giving them broad company
    exposure, providing departmental training programs, and selected company
    training programs.
    
    SUPPORTED COMPUTING ENVIRONMENTS
    Mainframe, OS/2 LAN Server, Windows NT (LAN and workstation), UNIX (AIX,
    Solaris and HPUX)
    ·ORACLE, Microsoft Exchange,
    
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    - Three to four years experience in a data security or information systems
    audit function.
    - Two years experience in a LAN and client/server processing environment.
    - Experience with a network operating system required. Windows NT preferred.
    - Two years experience in a UNIX processing environment (AIX or Solaris
    preferred).
    - Experience in business writing to include procedures, and business
    memorandums and letters.
    - Experience in project management to include project plan development and
    implementation.
    - Experience with supervising staff and managing assignments.
    - Experience with systems analysis to include establishing requirements,
    defining risks and designing solutions.
    - Experience supervising multiple projects and personnel.
    - Experience in preparing and conducting presentations.
    Skills & Abilities
    - Ability to commute, using personal transportation, between Bank campuses
    on a regular basis.
    - Ability to use a keyboard for eight hours/day.
    · Conceptual understanding of data security, system resources and required
    controls.
    -            Ability to breakdown and analyze abstract situations into basic
    data security related components and to resolve related issues.
    -            Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or a bachelor's
    degree and related MIS experience.
