Again, on Conectiva Linux snapshot:

frodo [/home/rodrigob] > slocate abc -oMoP
fatal error: slocate: Must specify an 'Update' database option first.
frodo [/home/rodrigob] > ls -lap MoP
ls: MoP: No such file or directory

No problem here.
