Considering the tough budget negotiations going on, are politicians
really going to listen at all on something they regard as a niche issue
at best? Sure, technical people know how good this would be for the
State's budget in the long term, but does that actually translate into
    caring in Salem?

That said, who do I pester? My rep seems to be the most chatty and
communicative, but does bugging a random representative have impact?

    Thanks,
        Crispin
