    Not really. The SUS services contact windowsupdate through the
    v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com or v3..... addresses, so its really not an
    issue. That was just an alternate.

    Is it just me or has this just gone and crippled the synchronize feature of
    Software Update Services ?
    
    I might be wrong but isn't that the only way it is able to update it's cache
